This is the 1st raya we celebrated away from family. But I guess, we're really fortunate coz we're together..me and the 3 people I love most..my hubby, my Tisya and my Aqeef...syukur alhamdulillah..1st raya after eid prayer in the morning, we went to Qatar Malaysian Embassy. We had nasi lemak, soto, nasi impit, an array of kuih muih and the special among all is the home made dodol...In the evening we went to fren's open houses..you know for face stuffing...we had lots of fun especially the children.

HaPpY BiRtHdAy My LiTtLe PrInCeSs...

Today is my lil princess Batrisyia's 5th Birthday. She insisted to have a birthday party. It's actually because last week we went to a friend's daughter birthday party, so when we got back my little princess kept on talking about holding a party. To do or not to do, so mama and papa decided that we make a small celebration for our lovely Tisya tonight after the Tarawih prayer. When she heard that she was very delighted.

When talk about party, although the invited guess were only around 30 people including children, I have to make sure that my food will be enough to cater for all of them. Given a short dateline, I myself never been cooking for more than 10 people. So I was like a bit nervous on what to cook, how much to cook, etc. And some more I'm not a good cook. How to deal with it. But my cool hubby kept on telling me that I could surely do it. Thanx for the motivation dear.

The result was nasi lemak with fried chicken and beef rendang, seafood pasta, watermelon and honey dew, and we ordered 4 box pf pizza. Alhamdulillah the food was more than enough and I packed the pasta and nasi lemak for my guests to bring home for their sahur.

To all my guests friends, thanks a lot for coming and also for the lovely presents for Tisya, hope that you all like the food. And surely I will brush up my cooking skills and will cook even better dish when you all come again. Thanks a lot.

Iftar at Shebestan Palace

we had our iftar with frens at an Iranian restaurant today. It was a beautiful restaurant and superb food. We had mix grilled set for 1 person. But bcoz the portion was big I shared it with hubby and kids. Me and Tisya like the juicy prawn n papa loved the tender lamb meat..whatever there were delicious. Aqeef was also enjoyed his roti naan mingled around the restaurant with kakak tisya n other small frens. We had great time there.

After food we rushed to QP Medical Department for me, tisya n aqeef check up for resident permit. Hubby had done his earlier n now he's waiting for the RP to be issued.

This was Tisya's n aqeef's 1st experience kena ambik darah. Me myself a bit scarry with this thing. When Tisya saw the needle she really screamed and said 'please I don't want'...melalak-lalak..sian kat dia.. I had to hold her tight and after 1 small cylinder then it's done. Then my turn came...so scarry I can tell..thay took 3 cylinder from me...

For Aqeef he was with hubby when he got a small jap at his finger..He wasn't crying but moment he heard kakak cried he continued the ryhthm..ha ha what a day..

after met with the doctor and had appoinment for the kid's vaccination we went off to Souq Waqif..When we reached there it was really humid but not that hot..I guess the moisture could be from the sea.

We had fun there while browsing thru every shops..It was really classic style arabic market with anything you can find there..We bought Sejadah, aqeef n papa got jubah and ketayap, Tisya got her pink head band cum hat and I got nothing but lots of fun..

It was already late and we reached home at about 11.30 nite. Good nite to all n happy fasting tomorrow..
